LEAF CROWN CHALLENGE - 'MAKING A PORTRAIT' WITH VICTORIA ANDREWS
If you aren't already familiar with Victoria's work (because it is totally possible you have been marooned on a faraway island disconnected from the internet world!!), she is a Portrait and Family Photographer based in the beautiful sunny state of Queensland, Australia. We are so lucky to have Victoria Andrews join the Instructor team of Gather Academy and are super excited for her launch of her "Making A Portrait - Concept to Creation" workshop on October 19th, 2020. Here she generously shares a 'How To' video with the Gather community, just one of many practical lessons she goes through in her upcoming course. “In my workshop, ‘Making a Portrait’, we will be exploring and developing our own creative ideas, learning some practical steps to take to turn these ideas and concepts into beautiful portraits, this will include making props to use within our work.
Creating props for my photographs has always been a huge part of my process, so I thought I would share with you all how I make my simple leaf crown that I have used in images over the past few years!”
