So many people have told me lately that the thought of taking a self-portrait terrifies them. It makes sense to me. It is vulnerable and we are all our own worst critic. When I look at pictures of myself that others have taken, I often think: “Is this really what I look like?” And here we are, judging ourselves on the details that hardly anyone but us notices.

April Milani has a deep interest in the study of colour. Here she gives us all a sneak peak into her brand new workshop The Colour of Emotion where she shows us how she takes colour inspiration right of the canvases (so to speak!!) of some of the very best Masters!

Celebrating the work of our 365 Community Project for the month of January
